Oh Snap! The super Boston-duo Soul Clap is back on the street. After their last Puppy Crack use, this time around you’re in for a well deserved Instafix! Coming up with an abundance in the present and coming months, the Soul Clap boys are gracing the planet with their oh so unique vision on anything between Disco and House to 90’s music and Techno! Their first edits are to be released by the new “Wolf + Lamb Black” project soon (see our article below), and a myriad of remixes on fantastic record labels are coming as well. However here, it is more the Techno element that they are dealing with: some seriously abrasive and hypnotic late night Techno stomps that will crack many speaker boxes!
Instafix was developed over a crazy night in the Soul Clap Studio/ Basement/ Bunker. As the hard weather could not allow any outdoors excursions, the freaky synths forced a Trojan incursion into the producers brain, multiplying and resulting in a multitude of kookiness grouped into the track. Who says kooky, calls on Crazy! That’s right, who better than Crazy Larry can handle such amount of quirk? No one. Larry turns over a simply nasty mix composed with all of his distinctive machine sounds coupled to Soul Clap’s original elements. Crazy Larry does it like none other, that’s what she said… but not only her. Beware beware, Larry’s first record release is Airdrop’s next record outing. AD 009, the Jenkim EP is already being played on the intergalactic floors by the likes of Mr.C, Luciano, Abe Duque, Italoboyz, Dario Zenker and Mark Henning. It features two MAD originals and and and… a very special Robert Dietz Remix!
