On the headline is none other than the Rosario-based DJ-extraordinaire, Franco Cinelli. You probably all heard his bomb remix for Cassius on all floors of the summer… well, just wait ’til you hear his freshly dropped, killer remix for John Spring on Airdrop! Each one of Franco’s performance is a truly unique experience, a most high-spirited moment for party-goers and a humbling lesson for any confirmed DJ. That’s right, a DJ’s DJ! The incredible technique Franco Cinelli acquired over the last 20 years, simply make him one of the most talented DJs our large planet has to offer.

Presently a Berlin resident, Alejandro Mosso comes from the beautiful city of Mendoza. Also famous for his productions under the Funzion moniker, Alejandro develops a very personal signature sound best described as optimistic, influentially-nomadic and irresistible. Back in 2009, Alejandro and Franco created a big crater with their bomb record Singa*Pure on Airdrop. Through his very special live performance, Alejandro Mosso will also present his new 12″ freshly released on his own label, mosso.

This weekend, Airdrop’s own Paulo will be taking over Paris on Saturday night. Warming things up for Maetrik at Social Club between 00h – 01h30, he will then move on to the much awaited Cracki factory party – where he will play between 03h – 04h30.

Cracki Records is a recently founded label based in Paris, which promotes young local artists by organizing unusual events, using the french capital’s most extraordinary locations. Directions to the factory will be revealed 48 hrs in advance on www.crackirecords.com

Airdrop top artist and Greener label head, Andres Zacco has just released two new records on two top labels – Dario Zenker’s Ilian Tape and Traut Muzik, run by Jonas Kopp.

Both records are already making big waves, as Raresh selected the track ‘Icegrass’ out of ILIAN009, to be featured on his new Green & Blue mixed compilation on Cocoon. TRAUT010 also features a top remix by Conforce.

In 2007, Chris and Steve Martinez, at 15 and 18 years old, released their debut single My Rendition EP on mentor Dennis Ferrer’s Objektivity.  It was an underground hit: Dance magazine cover articles, Miami parties with Diddy (along with Claude VonStroke, who we interviewed at EZ 2010), and more EPs followed.  Four years later, fresh off their set at Made Event’s 2011 Electric Zoo Festival in New York City, Airdrop’s Chinua Green catches up with the two brothers and talk touring, paving their own path while respecting their New York musical roots, and Hip-Hop supergroups.

Jason Carich aka Sr.Replicante has been active in Buenos Aires for over 20 years now. In the early ’90s, he was one of the core members of Urban Groove, the legendary DJ collective which shaped the future of the Argentine sound. Celebrating their 20 years of existence in 2011, they will be appearing for a series of gigs in Argentina before the end of the year.
