ANDRES ZACCO | EUROPE TOUR | JULY 2010

Duration: Friday June 4th through Monday July 26th 2010
This will be the first time the hyper talented DJ and producer ever comes to Europe to present his unique style and skills to an expert public. ANDRES ZACCO was born in Pergamino, Argentina in 1980. After spending many years in Buenos Aires, it’s in the city of Rosario he chose to establish residence. Ever since, Andres worked on numerous productions, many of which saw the light in little time. ANDRES ZACCO is extremely active on the national Argentine scene, playing many decisive events as the South American Music Conference (SAMC), or during the Ground parties, where he played with the likes of Magda or Richie Hawtin. Quite notably, Andres is also one of the core members in the Live Jam Sessions, along with Nico Purman, Franco Cinelli, Jonas Kopp, Seph, Lucas Mari and Jorge Savoretti.
Combining subtle forms of the Techno sound with classical structures in House music, ANDRES ZACCO creates a suprisingly natural mixture that differs from the rest, in a country often dominated by a certain minimal sound. Andres stands as the proud heir of a great history in underground dance music, following in the footsteps of his great friend and mentor Franco Cinelli. Recently ANDRES ZACCO created his own record label, Greener Records. A fantastic first release saw Kai-Maan and Lineas de Nazca collaborate together, and be remixed by Franco Cinelli. This was quickly followed by a release dedicated this time to Lucas Mari, another Rosario resident and also great friend of Andres. Lucas releases music on Adjunct and created with Andres the Carbonela EP for Stock5, from which a remix by Seph was licenced to Ellen Allien’s Boogy Bytes compilation on her label Bpitch Control. Leonel Castillo was in charge of the latest release on Greener, a record played and backed by the likes of Josh Wink, Speedy J, Agaric, Butane, or Claude VonStroke.
In May 2009, ANDRES ZACCO released “Seated Hopping” an artist EP on Airdrop Records which was received with great reviews in German trendsetting magazines De:Bug and Groove, as well as plays by Perc, Matt John, Davide Squillace or Alexi Delano. Coming up for Andres are a remix for Franco Cinelli due on Esperanza and the participation in the Rosario United project on Airdrop, which brings together remixes of Nico Purman, Jorge Savoretti, Franco Cinelli and Andres Zacco himself. October 2009 will see the celebration of Greener’s next record, which will actually be the collaboration of Franco Cinelli and Andres Zacco under the new moniker, Midiskunk, and the coming of both friends to Europe to inaugurate it properly.
