MUTEK [AR] & LIVE JAM – 11/10/09 – BUENOS AIRES

For a couple of years now, Buenos Aires has been lucky enough to host one of the most fantastic live formation we have ever had the chance to witness. It will be back at Niceto Club this weekend on the occasion of Mutek’s fifth year anniversary of presence in Argentina.
Organised by Tangent around the artists represented by the agency, the Live Jam regroups FRANCO CINELLI, ANDRES ZACCO, LUCAS MARI and SEPH, around their own machine, for unique improv-sessions. The formation always evolves, as for the two first shows it also included the presence of LEONEL CASTILLO, JORGE SAVORETTI and JONAS KOPP.
The concept wasn’t without reminding us of an incredible experience we lived a year before in Barcelona on the occasion of Sonar : NAROD NIKI. A cutting-edge experiment – with DIMBIMAN, DANDY JACK, CABANNE, AKUFEN, LUCIANO, RICHIE HAWTIN, DAN BELL, RICARDO VILLALOBOS and ROBERT HENKE operating the central mixer…
The first time NAROD NIKI had been realized was at the Mutek Festival in Montréal 2003. And quite notably, Mutek is celebrating this year its 10 years of activity in Canada and already 5 years in Argentina with a string of event to happen in different cities and over 3 months. Canadian master AKUFEN will also be presenting his fantastic live on the night of Saturday the 11th of October, at Niceto Club in Palermo Hollywood.
