The Ship without a Captain is back

You may remember this mysterious ship from last year, almost like a pirate ship that never made it to destination and was abandonned with all of its treasures. Well the ship is back, has been transported to safer and more accessible waters. The boat is docked, so do not worry you can take your jetski, kayak, practice your breast stroke, or just trust that reSOLUTE will get you there and back smoothly.
The line up will take us through the 21 hours of mayhem that it takes to celebrate Nektarios’ birthday. The Greek, co-founder of reSOLUTE is then off to launch another endeavor with enTechno (a 24 hour festival in Athens on Sept 5th, more details soon). Quenum who has released on many of the top labels, of which Cadenza and Thema, will be key to getting the boat shaking and protecting us from any lost Somalian pirates.

A couple of our personal favorites will also be playing. Mikael Stavostrand, hailing from Sweden via LA will perform his heavily percussive live set that will send sonic vibrations to all the aquatic creatures. Also, for the first time Connie and Tanner Ross, two of our favorite Airdrop artists will share the decks. Tanner Ross is almost like the superman to techno, with a strong education from the Berklee school of music in Boston, he has been able to create heavily praised music. Whether producing tunes with the dirtybird flavor, the deep and sexyness of his Marcel Wave alias, or the “I am going to rip your head off and eat it” that accompanies his stripped down spooky techno sounds of his Voodeux alias (w/ James Watts), he is one to never come short. Connie, who recently began producing under the Constar name is nothing short of amazing herself, easily one of the best DJs in NY, her productions are already ‘Red Hot’ AND her first vinyl, Sunset Tribe EP (w/ Voodeux’s Dusk Mix) just came out and is getting a lot of attention.
